Bjorn's debut album now available on streaming services worldwide

Svif, Bjorn's 1982 album is now available on services including Spotify, iTunes, Google Play and Amazon Music

 In 1982, Bjorn Thoroddsen's debut album, Svif, was released in Iceland on vinyl and cassette. The album, released soon after Bjorn returned to Iceland from his studies at Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, features some of Iceland's leading musicians at the time, including Jakob Magnusson (keyboard) , Eythor Gunnarsson (Fender Rhodes), Kristinn Svavarsson (sax), Gudmundur Ingolfsson (piano), Hjortur Howser (keyboard) and many more. Bjorn's friends from his school days in Hollywood, Mikael Berglund (bass) and Hans Rolin (drums), also feature here.

The album was released before the CD era and was never re-issued on that format. This year however (2017), in celebration of the album's 35 year anniversary, the album has finally been digitally transferred and is now available on all major streaming and download platforms - links below:

New album produced by Robben Ford now available worldwide

This new album by Björn Thoroddsen, Bjössi featuring Mackenzie Wasner, is now available worldwide in digital download (MP3 and FLAC format) and on CD via cdbaby.com (Link: https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/bjossithor)

The album is produced by the legendary guitarist Robben Ford and features the amazing vocals of Nashville-based country singer Mackenzie Wasner. The album has a special appearance by Australian guitar maestro Tommy Emmanuel and some of the finest session players in Nashville play on the record.

The songs are written by Björn Thoroddsen and Robben Ford in addition to two songs from the Bob Dylan archives.
