Björn will host his annual Guitarfestival in Bæjarbíó, Hafnarfjörður the 12th of November 2022.
The main guest this year will be the legendary gutarist, Robben Ford. Robben and Björn have worked together on various projects for the past 7 years and the former will visit Iceland for the second time for this concert.

Unnur Birna and Bjössi Thor
Early in 2019 Björn Thoroddsen joined a band of young, Icelandic blues musicians that is called Unnur Birna and Bjössi Thor. The band has been touring Iceland, playing in festivals and recording new music in a studio. Later this year an album is to be released. More on that on a later date…
Björn Thoroddsen and special guest Robben Ford conducted a masterclass in guitar at Music institude college of contemporary music in Los Angeles 14th of June 2018. "MI Guitar alumni Björn Thoroddsen has benn one of Iceland's leaading jazz guitarists. He is the recipient of several Icelandic music awards, including "Jazz Performer of the Year" in 2003, and has released a number of critically acclaimed albums. In 2015 he started collaborating with blues-based guitarist Robben Ford and they came together to MI for a special masterclass.
